  • Do chiropractors only treat the spine?
No! Chiropractors have an extensive knowledge of the whole body and can treat many joints including shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, jaws, and more! Chiropractors can also treat headaches or concussions, provide pre- and post-natal care, and help manage symptoms of many systemic conditions.
  • How old do I have to be to see a chiropractor?
Chiropractors treat all ages! Chiropractors are taught how to help the muscles and joints move optimally whether you are 0 or 100 years old.
  • How many chiropractic treatments are needed?
Every patient is different and recovers at a different rate based on multiple factors. During the Initial Assessment, your chiropractor will discuss a treatment plan with you based on the best available evidence and their clinical experience. This treatment plan will include the number of visits and frequency of care that is recommended. Based on high-quality research, treatment plans commonly involve 1-3 visits per week for 4-6 weeks, based on severity (amongst other factors). This care plan can be extended or shortened based on how the patient progresses.Patients may also opt for a plan that involves periodic visits every couple of weeks or months which help to reduce the frequency or severity of future pain.
  • Do I require a MD referral?
No, you do not require a referral to see a chiropractor!
